With all the trials and tribulations around Brexit, it didn’t stop Seville Oranges entering the country, although they did arrive a day late for us due to the difficulties the hauliers have had. A big thank you for the hauliers and Arnold’s Produce for getting them to us. We have been getting into action this week making our first batches of Simon’s Marmalade and are very pleased with the result. Next week will be full on. In the marmalade season we work 15 hour days for 4 days a week making 240 to 250 jars/day. Leaving at least one day a week to make shortbread!
